A body is listed here because an autocephalous Church names it among its own. Where the Churches differ, the entry says who names it, and Plithos does not say which is right.
Where a people has gone abroad, more than one Church may keep a diocese in the same country, and they are different bodies with different histories rather than duplicates of one another. Every row names the Church it belongs to.
This list is being built. A Church is here once it has been read from an official source and so are its dioceses, which means a Church may have many more dioceses than are shown, and a Church may be missing altogether.
